Chairman Wheeler spoke yesterday at the
Institute for Museum and Library Studies "Broadband in Libraries" public hearing. Most of it was a restatement of ideas he has given before, but here is something new: I heard him suggest "establishing a system of reference pricing, so people know what is a fair price." It sounds like a baby-step towards
Lowest Corresponding Price, or towards
freeing up the information currently buried in the Item 21 Attachments. Good news for the program.
